2020 Annual Day
This October 12, all employees will be giving back to the community.
About the Event
Our Annual Day of Service is an event where all BECU employees give back to the community. Helping others is part of our DNA. Our employees volunteer thousands of hours in their communities throughout the year, but we dedicate one day each year to ensure that our whole team can participate. We do this on Indigenous Peoples' Day, October 12, 2020, a day BECU is normally closed.
Instead of going out into the community in person, employees will be giving back from home this year. Together, we'll assemble more than 25,000 supply kits which will be delivered to local nonprofits serving the needs of our community. Our nine nonprofit partners this year are:
- Food Lifeline
- Giving Back Packs
- Housing Hope
- One80 Place
- Raising Girls
- Tukwila Children's Foundation
- United Way of King County
- Vanessa Behan
Helping others is more important than ever. We encourage you to make this holiday a day of service, as well, by giving back to your favorite local nonprofit. We'd love to hear about your experience. Share your photos and stories with us on social media.
