New Styling for BECU Website
Beginning August 28th, we will introduce a refreshed look to the BECU website, which aligns with the look and style of more current marketing imagery and design.

Why We're Updating our Site Design
Our website receives approximately 925,000 visitors per month, all looking for a wide variety of information. Nearly 46 percent browse our site on mobile and tablet devices, and some browse using automated screen readers. All of these things drive our needs to make type fonts, colors and content structure as clear as possible for everyone.
Better Experience for All Members
We continually strive to improve the online experience for all of our members. This site refresh also furthers our commitment to digital accessibility and meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) requirements, such as using fonts and background colors that make our website easier to read. Additionally, we have worked hard to speed up page load times for all mobile and desktop visitors.
What's Not Changing, Yet

Online Banking – Once you log in from the refreshed website, Online Banking will look and feel just as it does today. Online Banking does have plans to support WCAG 2.0 compliance, and will make updates throughout the year.

BECU mobile app – No style changes are being rolled out to the mobile app, either. The app will also look and feel just as it does today.

Site navigation – Although site navigation may change in the future, you can still navigate our site just as before.

PDF documents and forms – These can still be downloaded just as before.
Looking to the Future
We hope you'll see that this new styling, with its fresh imagery, cleaner organization and easier to read type, sets us up for faster future enhancements. Look for improved navigation, more robust site search and other upgrades in the coming year. As digital usage continues to grow, it's important we lay the groundwork for nimble execution of innovative design that meets the needs of our members – not only on our website, but throughout your entire experience at BECU.
