Holiday Lights

BECU and 4 News Now Team Up to Bring Holiday Joy

We’re joining in a merry cast that brings holiday joy to Spokane’s Cowley Park.

For the third year in a row, the 4 News Now Extreme Team in Spokane will team up with Spokane Traffic Control, Sacred Children's Hospital, Avista Utilities and the Ace Hardware stores located on Francis St., and Ash and Rowan.to decorate Spokane's Cowley Park with holiday lights. And this year, BECU is lending an additional hand.

In previous years, the masterpiece of festive lights turned heads throughout the community. Over $12,000 worth of lights were put up by the team of dedicated volunteers in 2018 alone, using a crane to decorate the tops of trees that reached 10 stories tall. We can't wait to get started with lending a hand this year.

Most notably, the efforts are visible from Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, bringing its young patients an extra dose of holiday cheer when they look toward the park every night.
